Therapy Services

FACE TO FACE Sessions

My private practice is based in my home, in Kibworth Beauchamp, Leicestershire, ideally located just off the A6 between Market Harborough and Leicester. This is a beautiful, relaxing space which has recently been renovated.

Remote Sessions

I offer remote sessions via telephone or Microsoft Teams, as following Covid-19 I recognise that for some people this offers a more flexible opportunity to access therapy.

How Can I Help

People come to therapy for many different reasons, including improving relationships, healing from past abuse or trauma, exploring childhood difficulties or recent life events as well as searching for new meaning in life.

Some people come for a short time and find their unpleasant emotions are more manageable, for others therapy is a longer journey of exploration.

Whatever your reason for coming to therapy, through talking together in confidence, I can help you to work through your difficulties, actively engaging with you so that you feel heard, understood and valued. This creates the opportunity for positive change and growth, helping you to achieve a sense of self & a happier, healthier you.

Getting Started

Following you making contact we will arrange an initial session where we can explore your needs and you can share with me what you hope to gain from therapy as well as getting a sense of who I am as a therapist.

As the therapeutic relationship is fundamental in facilitating change & growth, it is important to find the right fit in a therapist, so if you are still happy to continue after this meeting then we can go from there.

What is Integrative Psychotherapy?

Integrative psychotherapy is a model of therapy which embraces individual’s uniqueness by responding appropriately and effectively to a persons specific needs, with the aim of integrating or bringing together individual’s parts of self into a more whole, cohesive self.

As an integrative psychotherapist I work from a relational-developmental perspective, drawing from & integrating a number of different theories. When linked with a strong therapeutic relationship this holds the key to facilitating change and offering a reparative experience.

Combining these concepts results in a more flexible, inclusive approach, enabling greater understanding of the psychological and physiological processes surrounding trauma and adverse developmental experiences.
